We have the winners for the Giving is Awesome Blog Contest!
It was really hard. No, you don’t understand, it was REALLY hard on so many levels. I wanted to pick each and everyone of them.
Luckily I had Jen and Cathy right there along side me. Let’s start with them.
Jen ( The Growing Nest and Cottage by the Sea ) picked the Bento family. Their family has three girls and so we thought it was fitting for them to receive a $100 gift certificate for the Cottage by the Sea store. I’m sure mom and the girls will find lots of special things to choose from in the store. Merry Christmas to you, Bento Family! And thank you Lynn Garcia for nominating them.
Cathy from Makana Mother and Baby will be giving $50 gift certificates to Tracie and her daughter Skyy as well as to Jodi and her daughter Caris. Her store also has an amazing selection of all things maternity and baby. Happy Holidays to you Tracie and Jodi. Thanks you to Lisa Kagami and Erin Kinney for nominating these amazing women.
Now last but certainly not least, I chose the Gazelle Family. They were nominated by Joely Chung and I’m really looking forward to working with them. I won’t post any details about their situation without their consent but if they do, I’ll dedicate a post to them. They have won a $750 gift certificate from me, and Joely has won a $250 gift certificate as well.
Thank you for nominating these heroic families and I hope to be able to do this again next year. If anyone has a service that you think would benefit families that may need a little bit of support in any way, email me. Maybe next year I can have many different services to add to my prizes. Sometimes all parents need is a bit of a respite, a night out, or the kids may need something extra special. It’s all good.
