more sharing is caring

Ok, so I've been lax but at least I've been around. I will be needing to update my blog header soon so I'll be holding another 'Best of 2008' contest soon so stay posted. Here are three more families from last year to tide you over...

These two girlies made me laugh. They were a riot.

This little guy had a rough first couple of months but you would not be able to tell by looking at him now. He is so happy and healthy.

These last two boys were full of energy. They introduced me to the plasma car and after watching their skillful riding, I just had to get one for my nephew.

Giddy

Ok, so I haven't blogged in a bit but I'm back to celebrate the amazing day we have ahead of us tomorrow. I still can't believe it how incredible it is that we have come this far. So on the eve of the most hopeful inauguration, I will post one of my favorite families because there are a couple of images in from this session that will show just how I feel. They are the last two at the bottom of the post. A picture is worth a thousand words...

These two depict what I feel in my heart. I am once again proud of our nation. First time in eight years.

In the rain...

Can anyone be happier?

Love these kids ( and their parents as well.) We always have fun and my camera loves them too. Can you tell?

Have a great, historic day tomorrow!

sisters

These next two sessions are related because the moms are sisters. The sessions were really different but the love for the families were similar - wonderfully enveloping. I love when it's all in the family.

Feeling Beachy

So I almost missed today. Actually, I have 8 minutes left. Here are two sessions at the beach. This is why the North Shore is the only beach I hold sessions at. I just love all that beach and the beautiful light.

I don't know think I would be a happy photographer if I had a year without these two girlies. We have seen each other at least twice a year for years and we have so much fun every time.

This last two little ones are soon to be expecting an addition to their family soon. They are a blast and I can't wait to meet their new brother or sister.

Day Four

I have also watched these beauties grow. They each have such personalities. The little one almost ran right into the pond. Firecracker is much too tame. But really, they both sparkle.

This little guy makes me feel like dancing. He seriously is so cute and every time I see these, I just have to smile.

And here are the twins. They just keep getting more beautiful, and fun. I've done every session in home and they are different each time. Their mom and dad are great people as well. Hey mom, I can't wait to deliver your order!

Spending the day with annie. Will grab a nugget for tomorrow.

I'm on a roll

Here are three more sessions.

First is a sweet girlie and her pup Nikki. She is willing to do whatever it takes to get the shot. A girl after my own heart.

Next is a sister and brother team that I've photographed from when each of them were babies. I love hanging out with them.

And at the park again are these two. She has the biggest smiles and actually, so does he. He just celebrated his first birthday too.

See ya tomorrow. ;)

Second day

I'm here. I almost forgot that I'm doing a blog-a-day but, the main thing is that I didn't (and it's not even 11:50pm.) Yay me.

Here are some newbies. Gotta love the little ones. I don't need to have anymore of my own( thank goodness ) because I get to play with these little guys all the time. Remember, I love to have these session within 10 days of birth. I'll make the flex appointment and move it at the whim of the little ones.

Here is one from a while back. Did the maternity with big sis and then the newborn. Amazing family with the biggest hearts. These little darlings are lucky to have such incredible parents. I could gush about them all day.

And this sweet little girl was so good. She fell asleep on cue and the light was sweet. I couldn't have asked for more.

Because of the blog a day thing, I'll post a tip when I get them.
See ya tomorrow.

A shout out to 2009

Ok, so you've heard it before. A new year's resolution to the blog. I'm not doin' it. I'll just try harder - blah, blah, blah. On a lighter note, I'm running a couple of other contests this year so that should be fun. I'm on vaca ( sort of) right now so I'm going to try hard to do a post-a-day so I can post the kagillion images I have from 2008. I should be done in late May ;0

Here are some from way back when. They are still dear to my heart and I thought I should share them before their next session comes up. ;)

How cute she?

Another fun family:

And what can I say about these two? I look forward to hanging with them every year. They are up to do just about anything. Love that! Last year, at the beach, we even hung out with Nalu the monk seal.

Annie's tip of the day:

"Don't leave a camera out for Santa to make a self portrait on Christmas Eve. He just isn't a photographer. He doesn't know how to work those things."

See you tomorrow.
